...ICF shipped a 40-foot ocean shipping container filled with de-worming medications that will be able to treat approximately 83,000 people valued over $650,000.00 along with donated clothing, shoes, medical supplies, Kleenex, feminine products and latex paint.

...ICF received a shipment of nearly 45,000 pounds of high-protein meals specially formulated for starving children. The shipment, totaling nearly 271,000 meals, was donated by Feed My Starving Children, a charity based in Minneapolis. The food was shipped immediately to three of our partner missions in Liberia: Harvest Time Ministries, Living Word Community Church, and My Brother’s Keepers Orphanage. Pastor Amoakohene is one of our dedicated leaders helping to ease the suffering and hunger in Ghana. Dr. David Bruenning has spent many years training pastors, shipping crucial aid, and overseeing a variety of projects that are helping communities there to become more self-sufficient. ICF sent a $20 million shipment of crucial medicines to the Siloe Clinic in Douala Cameroon. Dr. Bruenning arrived there on November 5, 2008 to assist the clinic’s director, Dr. Clementine Dackam, in receiving and inventorying the shipment. ICF's volunteer team packed and shipped two 40-foot cargo containers with crucial relief aid, one of them going to Ghana, and the other to our mission in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Our missions leader in Sierra Leone is Sam Baihinga, a former Muslim who came to faith in Christ. Pastor Sam’s passion for ministry and helping others can be felt through the several churches he has founded, as well as through the health clinic he oversees, and through his ministry to disabled adults and orphaned children victimized by the country’s bloody, decade-long civil war.
